Resources

Discerning our vocations are life-long pilgrimages to find meaning, purpose, and significance.

Our calls encompass all of us, from our personality with its habitual behaviors and ways of seeing the world to what we do. Pilgrimages need thought and planning and as a minimum, intention. This does not mean we have to put together 10-year plans of "here is what I want to have accomplished by..." Rather, the invitation is to a commitment to give ourselves to the task of listening, reflecting, and responding wholeheartedly to whatever summons we hear. When we do this, our lives will yield much fruit.

I'd like to share some resources with you which I hope will act as guides, helping you figure out who you are...

Stop & Take Stock Along The Way...

Journal.

Note your ideas, frustrations, and heart's longings. If you love to draw then try sketching. Enjoy photography? Take pictures. There is more than one way to journal. The sole purpose is to capture your discoveries.

Fellow Pilgrims.

Think about forming a small group. Ask someone to mentor you. Consider seeing a spiritual director regularly. You need others to help you process, give you feedback, ask you questions, challenge, inspire, and encourage you.

Signposts.

The guides and questions I have put together are signposts, humbly offered to help you reflect. You certainly don't have to agree with everything. Simply get curious!
