In order to be open ...we have to die to our image of ourselves.

Thomas Merton

What is Personality?

Simply put, our personality is the way we think, feel and act. This includes the combination of our individual characteristics, emotional responses and behaviors.

What is the Enneagram?

The enneagram is a personality system that describes nine patterns of thinking, feeling & acting, highlighting core motivations & beliefs that drive behaviors. It explains the responses we make when we are in stress or when we are feeling relaxed and secure.

What’s its history? The principles behind the enneagram can be traced back to ancient spiritual and philosophical teachings. In the 20th century, these were connected to psychological insights and aligned in surprising and meaningful ways. In the 20th century, these principles were mapped onto psychological insights and aligned in remarkable ways.

Why bother with it? The enneagram offers valuable insights into ourselves and helps us develop empathy for those around us. In the end, it supports our ability to flourish and live in harmony with others.

There are many ways you can get started with the enneagram. My Guide introduces you to a variety of educative resources and options for identifying your enneagram personality type. Regardless of how you begin, remember that the goal is growth towards wholeness and not a quick fix giving easy answers.

Enneagram Consultation & Group Facilitation

Individuals

I am a certified instructor in the Enneagram Spectrum Method. This training is accredited by the International Enneagram Association.

I am trained to interpret the Wagner Enneagram Personality Style Scales (WEPSS), which measures both the positive and negative dimensions of the nine Enneagram styles. It costs $20.00 CAD (15 USD), and is one way you can identify which of the nine styles seem to describe you.

Go direct to the WEPSS site to Purchase the test and select the option that says, “Buyer and Test Taker.”

Once you have received your results, book an Enneagram consultation with me by navigating to the contact button below.

I will get back to you to arrange a time to meet.

Appointments are online with the possibility of moving to in person in any subsequent sessions.

As a spiritual director, I bring a listening posture to my Enneagram specific sessions. My work is to accompany you as you unpack the wisdom of this powerful personality tool.

Groups

I have presented the Enneagram at teacher conventions and in church circles as a primer, serving as an introduction to those unfamiliar with the Enneagram system, or who want a refresher of the basics. If you are interested in a presentation and/or workshop for your group, reach out to me through my contact page and I will get back to you.

If we are courageous enough to look in the mirror & beyond our mask-wearing selves, this tool can help us live a life infused with love for self & others.

Psychologist, David G. Benner writes that, “we are spiritual beings on a human journey” and that “to be human is to be embodied.” In other words, we are flesh and blood beings on a quest. For me, that means we are on pathways towards wholeness and personality tools can help guide us along that journey.

About the MBTI

The MBTI identifies our personality preferences according to four dimensions, and helps us understand our potential strengths and development areas. The framework enables an exploration of interpersonal & intrapersonal relationships, from communication & decision-making preferences to understanding the shape of our spiritual dispositions. This increasing self-awareness and grasp of how others are wired, allows us to appreciate each other & move through the world in healthy ways.

The MBTI identifies four dimensions which are:

  1. Where we focus our attention & get energy

  2. The way we take in information

  3. The way we make decisions

  4. How we orient our lives to the world around us

I am certified to offer official MBTI assessments and reports via Psychometrics Canada to individuals and groups. The cost of reports that identify your type are set by them.  You can see the range of reports on their site.

Contact me if you are interested in taking the MBTI assessment. The same sliding fee structure as above, applies to individuals plus the cost of generating the report.

Groups

If you are interested in a MBTI workshop for your group, contact me direct.

 MYERS BRIGGS TYPE INDICATOR TESTIMONIAL

“Our MBTI workshop with Everyday Pilgrimages was so much more than a session on personality styles. Witty took time to foster a deeper understanding of how each team member’s preferences impacted the team’s overall dynamic.  She expertly facilitated the session and allowed time for us to reflect on our own preferences and develop compassion for one another based on each other’s preferences. She was excellent at reading the tone of the group, adjusting as needed. We only wish we had booked a longer session!”
